Now all they need to do is come up with bright green, red, yellow and orange eggplants!

Lovely! Do they retain their purpleness when cooked?

I have those growing in my garden but have never seen them anywhere else!

Did Clara grow those in the vegetable garden?

We saw those for the first time a few years ago and the children couldn't wait to try them. They didn't care for the flavor (or lack thereof) so we have just admired their color while walking past them since then.

Beautiful! Wish I could taste them... wondering if they're sharp or sweet. :)

Lovely. The Deep Purple is a rich color.

So, tell us! You know many love your blogs but what are some of your favorites that you read?

Every purple bell pepper I've ever eaten has been as sweet as candle! Positively phenomenal! I live in the Philippines and I miss them!

My favorite reads are in my sidebar!

Yes, the peppers are sweet but without the zing of red and yellow peppers.

Rose, these came from farmer's market.
